DDC Chairperson, DC Lay Foundation For New DDC Office Building At Jetty B’la

Baramulla : In a significant development for the region, the Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safeena Baig in presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Monday laid the foundation stone for the new DDC office building at Jetty Baramulla.
The ceremony marks the commencement of a pivotal infrastructure project aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and service delivery in the district.
The new DDC office building, with an estimated cost of Rs 285.38 lakhs, is set to become a landmark structure, reflecting the commitment of the local government to improve public amenities and governance. This project is expected to provide a modern, well-equipped workspace for the DDC, facilitating better coordination and implementation of developmental schemes and progra
Speaking at the event, the Chairperson DDC highlighted the importance of this project for the local administration. She said this new office building will significantly boost their operational capabilities, ensuring that they can serve the people of Baramulla more effectively. It is a testament to our dedication to progress and development in the region, she added.
The DC echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the positive impact of the project on the local community. He said this foundation stone is not just for a building, but for the future growth and prosperity of Baramulla. He said the District Administration is committed to completing this project on time and to the highest standards.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by District Development Council Members, Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Qamar Sajad; Chief Planning Officer, Javaid Ahmad; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Arshid Ahmad; Assistant Commissioner Development, Shabir Ahmad Hakak; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Ibaad-ur-Rehman; Tehsildar Baramulla and other officers and officials.
