Jammu : Police Hospital Jammu in its endeavor of conducting/organizing yoga camp/session every year on the eve of “International Yoga Day”, this year also yoga session was organized in the lawns of Police Hospital Jammu on Friday in the early morning hours from 06:30 am onwards. The said yoga session was attended by doctors, paramedical and other staff members of this hospital. Yoga exercises were carried out under the guidance of HC (M) Sameet Kumar who is presently posted in this hospital and having very good expertise in Yoga.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Jammu, all the participants were very happy to be part of this yoga session and asserted that they shall try to incorporate this yoga in their routine life to remain fit and healthy and contribute towards the overall welfare of the society and to serve the very purpose of this year’s theme of Yoga Day as “Yoga for Self and Society” chosen by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
While concluding the yoga session, Dr. Anil Slathia, Medical Officer, Police Hospital Jammu conveyed special thanks to all participants for showing their high response to be part of this session and get benefited by way of learning/practicing different yoga formations during the camp.
