Srinagar: The Border Security Force (BSF) marked the culmination of a month-long celebration of the 10th International Day of Yoga with fervent participation across various BSF units and forward locations along the Line of Control (LoC).
The celebrations, which commenced on May 21, 2024, included a series of yoga sessions, debates, quizzes, competitions, and awareness seminars organized by BSF Kashmir Frontier.
The main event took place at the STC BSF/ Ftr HQrs, Humhama Campus in Srinagar, where troops, school children, and civilians enthusiastically joined in. Highlighting the significance of yoga in BSF’s daily regimen, officials emphasized its role in maintaining physical fitness, mental alertness, and operational efficiency, especially in locations where conventional sports facilities are limited.
