Pulwama : Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Pulwama extends heartfelt greetings to the People in general and teachers fraternity in particular on the auspicious occasion of Eidul-Adha.
Irfan Nazir, District President of JKTF Pulwama, emphasized that this sacred festival epitomizes devotion, faith, and sacrifice, fostering values of brotherhood, compassion, and unity. “On this blessed occasion of Eid ul-Adha, let us reflect on the profound story of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering devotion and obedience to Allah. His legacy teaches us the true essence of sacrifice, compassion, and steadfast faith. May his example inspire us to embody these virtues in our daily lives,” he said.
Irfan Nazir expressed his earnest wishes for the sacrifices made during this blessed occasion to be accepted and prayers to be answered by Almighty Allah. Quoting from the Holy Quran, he emphasized, “Neither the flesh nor the blood (of the sacrificed animal) reaches Allah; It is our piety that reaches him.” He stressed that Eidul-Adha also conveys a profound message of compassion towards the poor and destitute, urging the community to ensure their inclusion in the festivities by providing economic support, particularly to orphans and those in need. “Eid is not merely about donning new attire and indulging in lavish feasts; it is about expressing gratitude to Allah for His blessings and extending a helping hand to the less fortunate,” Irfan Nazir added. He called upon everyone to pledge to observe Eid-ul-Adha with simplicity, in accordance with Islamic traditions and teachings, and to extend compassion towards the poor, underprivileged, and needy members of society. By doing so, individuals can seek the pleasure and satisfaction of Allah Almighty.
