This initiative is especially crucial as the community prepares for the upcoming Eid festival.
Joint teams from various departments conducted thorough inspections in the Gool and Sangaldan markets. The enforcement teams imposed fine of ₹3,200 on erring traders for violations, including overcharging and failing to maintain the quality of essential goods.
Shopkeepers were instructed to refrain from overcharging and were reminded of their responsibility to maintain the quality of essential materials and food items.
