Awantipora : The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) held a Basic Life Support (BLS) training program in collaboration with the Health Centre IUST, the Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Dobiwan, and the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office IUST here, experts from IUST and the Regional Institute including Dr.Zahida (Medical Officer IUST), Dr Masood (Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare) provided training on essential life support techniques, including CPR and the use of AEDs. The program aimed to equip NSS volunteers and staff with the necessary skills to act promptly in emergencies was organized by Dr. Tariq Ahmed Ganie (IUST NSS Coordinator). The event saw participation from NSS volunteers, health centre employees, and security staff.
