Pulwama: In a significant development, Dr. Harbakash Singh, a prominent member of the District Development Council (DDC) in Tral, paid a visit to the region to assess the progress of the macadamization work on Tral Nowdal Road and Tral K-Koot Road, in response to complaints received from local residents.
During his visit, Dr. Singh held discussions with officials from the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department, and contractors responsible for the ongoing work. The purpose of these meetings was to gather information about the current status of the project and address any concerns raised by the locals.
Expressing his satisfaction, Dr. Singh stated that he was pleased with the work being carried out on both roads. Despite the initial complaints, he found that the macadamization work was progressing smoothly and efficiently. Dr. Singh commended the efforts of the officials and contractors involved in ensuring the successful implementation of the project. He also made his way to the BDO office in Tral as well to discuss important developmental projects and the concerns raised by contractors, particularly related to MGNREGA works and pending payments. Notably, the macadamization work in Tral is a crucial step towards improving the overall infrastructure and connectivity in the region. The completion of these road projects will not only enhance the travel experience for residents but also contribute to the economic growth and development of Tral.
