Theft Case Solved In Srinagar, Accused Arrested: Police

Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has solved a theft case by arresting an accused involved in the commission of crime and also recovered stolen property from her possession here in Srinagar.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that Police Station Sadder received a complaint from Parvaiz Ahmad Wani S/o Late Ab Khaliq Wani R/o Chinar Colony Baghat Srinagar who alleged therein that during 25th and 27th this year some unknown thieves entered into his house and took away cash.
Stating that a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Sadder besides initiating investigation, Police in its statement further said that during the course of investigation, technical evidence was thoroughly analysed and upon analysis, the accused lady identified as Nusrat Nisar W/o Nisar Ahmad Kuchay R/o Barsoo Awantipora was arrested , adding therein that on disclosure of the said lady accused stolen amount of Rs 23,46,000/- was recovered from her house in Barsoo Awantipora. “Further investigation is going on”, Police said in the concluding para of its above quoted statement
