Srinagar : SSP Budgam Nikhil Borkar on Saturday chaired a Police-public meeting at Conference Hall, Budgam. ASP Budgam and DySP Hqrs were also present on the occasion. Community members from different areas including senior citizens participated in the meeting.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that during the meeting, various public issues were discussed with a primary focus on addressing the challenges posed by drug menace. Participants shared their issues and they were engaged in a constructive dialogue aimed at devising effective strategies to combat these issues and safeguard the community.
The SSP Budgam, in his address, assured the participants that stern action would be taken against illegal activities. The chairing officer also assured the participants that their genuine issues pertaining to civil administration, will be conveyed to the concerned for early redressal. The meeting served as a platform for fostering collaboration between law enforcement authorities and the community, emphasizing the shared responsibility in maintaining peace, security and well-being in the region.
