Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has attached the properties of two militant handlers in north Kashmir’s district Baramulla after obtaining attachment order passed by Addl. Sessions Court Baramulla, adding therein that properties comprises of 08 Kanals and 04 Marlas of land worth crores belonged to two militant handlers namely Jaleel Ahmad Rather S/o Gh Mohd and Mohd Ashraf Mir S/o Sonaullah Mir, both residents of Tilgam Baramulla, based in Pakistan.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC & are linked with case FIR No. 04/2008 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121 RPC, 7/25 Indian Arms Act,13 UA (P) Act of PS Kreeri.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Police said that the properties were found to be of the militant handlers during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police, adding therein that the operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat militant activities.
