Inter School Zonal Level Competitions In Full Swing Across Distt Kishtwar

ABN School Emerges Victorious, Clinches Title In An Impressive Display Of Teamwork And Skill

Kishtwar : The District Kishtwar is witnessing an energetic display of talent and sportsmanship as the inter-school zonal level competitions for under-14 and under-17 boys and girls progress across various zones.
These competitions aim to promote sports and physical activity among students, encouraging a healthy and competitive spirit.
These competitions, held in District Kishtwar, are organized under the guidance of DYSSO Kishtwar, Jaffer H Sheikh, and showcase the athletic prowess and sportsmanship of young students in the region.
On the 4th day of the competitions, Zone Nagseni and Zone Paddar hosted their events with great enthusiasm. Students from various schools participated in multiple sports disciplines, showcasing their skills and determination.
On the 5th day, the events in Kishtwar and Drabshalla zones continued to captivate participants and spectators alike. The competition was fierce, with students striving for excellence to honor their schools. Approximately 100 girls took part in the contest, showcasing their talents and determination.
At zone Kishtwar, in a thrilling final kabaddi match for the under-17 girls category, HSS Girls faced off against ABN School. After a competitive game, ABN School emerged victorious, clinching the title in an impressive display of teamwork and skill.
Meanwhile, the second day of competitions for U-14 and U-17 girls featured various disciplines, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Carrom, Cricket, and Rope Skipping at Zone Inderwal wherein school students actively participated in the tournament.
Officials from the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Inderwal, were present to oversee the events and ensure a smooth and fair competition.
These competitions are not only a platform for young athletes to exhibit their talents but also a testament to the growing emphasis on sports within the educational framework of the district.
