DC Ramban conducts extensive visit to market, inspects various Dev projects

DC also visits DH to take stock of health care facilities

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary on Thursday conducted an extensive tour to Ramban Market and inspected various key developmental Projects during his field visit under the public outreach programme besides interacting with the locals.
The DC was accompanied by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACR, S Harpal Singh, Dy. SP, OM Parkash, Exec ive Engineer, PWD Abhishek Gupta, Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti, Rajiv Ghai, and CEO MC Ramban, Sudarshan Kumar and various prominent citizens.
While listening to grievances and demands of the locals, the Deputy Commissioner directed CEO MC to ensure proper cleanness and sanitation in Ramban market, especially surrounding District Hospital Ramban, Court Complex and other important locations. He also directed to remove garbage and scrap from the park site.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected under construction Multistory Bus Stand Ramban being executed by the PWD with an estimated cost of rupees 22.90 crore, and Office Building cum Car parking of Municipal Council Ramban being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 crores.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agency to speed up the construction work and complete the key projects of public interest as early as possible.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner visited District Hospital Ramban to take stock of healthcare facilities being provided to patients besides inspecting the functioning of its various units.
The Deputy Commissioner went around the wards and interacted with the patients and checked the daily record of patients and duty roaster of doctors and other paramedical staff on call duty. He directed officers to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of District Hospital Ramban besides ensuring that all medical facilities are extended to OPD & IPD patients in a hassle-free manner.
Inspecting all blocks and other infrastructure of DH Ramban, the Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agency and MS DH Ramban, Dr. Varinder Trisal to complete repair/ renovation work and make the best possible use of all available accommodation/ infrastructure in the hospital. He also directed to complete ongoing work in wards and issue notice to the executing agency for immediately making functional all additional critical facilities.
