Rajouri: Traffic Advisory Issued For Counting Day

Rajouri: In connection with the Counting of Votes GELS -2024 at Government Degree College Rajouri, the Traffic police have issued traffic advisory for public to avoid congestion during the movement of vehicles of Counting parties, Contesting Candidates, agents and Media Persons around the Venue:
There will be one way traffic or brief diversion on the movement of vehicles around the Venue and approaching route as per the ground requirement to avoid any inconvenience to the Counting parties, Contesting Candidates/General Public.
No heavy vehicles (Trucks, Tippers, Dumpers, Tractors, Load Carriers) shall ply inside the town Rajouri on the day of counting.
No vehicle shall ply from Panchayat Ghar Chowdhary Nar BGSBU Link Road towards Degree College Rajouri and shall adopt the BGSBU Link Road route via BGSBU, Dhanidhar, Sheema Crossing- Panja Chowk.
Vehicles coming from GMC, Darhal and Thannamandi shall adopt the Charlie TCP route via GO Mess Sheema Crossing-Panja Chowk. The Vehicles coming from NHW 144-A to Rajouri Town Shall adopt the route via Tariq Bridge- under Abdullah Bridge.
Vehicles coming from Old City and Gujjar Mandi intending to go Jawahar Nagar shall Adopt the route of Gujjar Mandi Sheema Crossing Panja Chowk.
Charlie TCP Stand shall operate from Darhali Bridge 04-06-2024.
Participants are advised to park their vehicle at designated parking places only i.e. Diet Ground Kheora Rajouri and avoid illegal / haphazard parking on the road side. Wrongly parked vehicles will be towed and challaned under the provisions of MV Act/rule.
All the Transporter /Driver/General Public are requested to cooperate with Traffic Police during on-spot traffic diversions and traffic regulations.
For any Traffic related assistance, Traffic Police officer/official on duty may please be contacted. Inconvenience to the general public is regretted.
