Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that it has affixed GPS tracking devices on under trial militant associates who were enlarged on bail in UA(P) case here in Anantnag.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the accused were arrested in case FIR No 34/2018 under section 38, 39 UA(P) Act of Police Station Dooru and have been enlarged on bail by the district Court, adding therein that GPS anklet will be however used to monitor the movement of the said militant associates and ensure that they don’t violate the bail conditions.
