Doda: A team of medical officers on Thursday visited Village Thanalla to check the status of children suffering from a skin disease. The team included Dr. Sangita Kotwal, Consultant Pediatrician, and Dr. Priya Manhas, Medical Officer (MS ENT) under the overall supervision of the Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah.
The consultation was provided on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh and Chief Medical Officer.
During the visit, free medicines were given to the affected children. Additionally, the parents received an orientation on how to take care of their children and were advised to remain in contact with hospital authorities.
The Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah requested the parents to visit SDH Bhaderwah for further assistance, ensuring they could be referred to GMC Doda for a dermatologist consultation free of cost.
In addition to the targeted efforts for the children, the general public also benefited from free medicines and a medical check-up. The initiative aimed to provide comprehensive healthcare support to the community and address the immediate health concerns of the children and their families.
