Srinagar : Police on Tuesday said that it has attached properties (3 Kanals & 19 Marlas) land worth lacs belonging to 2 militant handlers based in Pakistan namely Jalal Din S/o Raj Mohd R/o Zamboor Pattan and Mohd Saki S/o Mastana Bhatti R/o Kamalkote Uri Baramulla, after obtaining attachment order from Sub Judge Uri.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC and are linked with case FIR No. 34/1995 u/s 7/25 Indian Arms Act, 4(III) TADA Act & 105/1996 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act of PS Uri.
Stating that the said property was identified belonging to militant handlers during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement said that the operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat the militant activities.
