Srinagar: The DGP J&K Police R. R Swain on Monday sanctioned Rs. 5.91 Cr as Special Welfare /ex-gratia relief
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Srinagar the Director General J&K Police R.R Swain sanctioned Rupees 5.53 Cr as Special Welfare Relief / and rupees 38 lakh as ex-gratia relief in favour of dependents/legal heirs of slain/deceased Police personnel.
The DGP has alsp sanctioned ex-gratia relief of rupees 38 lakh in favour of NoK of slain DySP Himayun Muzzamil Bhat who died in an encounter with militants at Guri Nad Gadool Kokernag on 13th September last year . In different orders DGP has sanctioned special welfare relief of Rupees 22 lakh each in favour of dependents/legal heirs of deceased Insp. Raj Mohammad, Insp. Sanjeev Gupta, SI Kaka Ram, ASI Dogar Mal, ASI.
