Jammu: A goods train on Sunday derailed in Udhampur near Sangar station in Jammu, a Railway official said.
Movement of trains was disrupted for a brief period on the route leading to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra following the derailment.
“No injury or major damage was reported due to the incident,” he said adding that movement of some Katra to Jammu bound trains including Vande Bharat remained hit but the rail traffic was smooth thereafter.
