Poppy cultivation destroyed in Handwara: Police

Srinagar : Police along with civil administration on Saturday launched a special drive against illegal cultivation of Poppy in Bonibath Vilgam Handwara.
Stating that a case under FIR No. 32/2024 under relevant sections of law was also registered at Police Station Vilgam besides initiating further investigation, Police in a statement issued in this connection also appealed people to extend their cooperation in this drive against drug abuse
