Udhampur: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, SaloniRaion Saturday chaired a meeting of District TB Co-Morbidity Coordination Committee here in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
During the meeting, the DC directed the concerned authorities to increase TB testing and improve testing facilities. She emphasized the need for enhanced counseling to facilitate early detection and treatment of TB patients.
Additionally, she instructed the concerned officials to identify specific causes for non-tobacco-linked TB cases to implement remedies aimed at eliminating these causes.
The District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) was tasked with ensuring close coordination with other stakeholder departments to eradicate TB in the district. The DC also called for an increase in testing, intensified awareness campaign, and stressed the importance of stepping up efforts towards TB eradication.
