Reasi: District Development Commissioner VisheshMahajanon Saturday chaired a meeting to review the working of District Industries Centre, Reasi.
DDC asked the functionaries to explore the scope of industrialization in the least touched areas of the district.
DIC General Manager Mohammed Anwar Banday, gave a detailed power point presentation on the functioning of the department including the implementation of different schemes launched by the Govt. viz New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) 2021, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) scheme, PM Vishwakarma& Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021.
The DDC stressed on maximum sponsorship under PMEGP and other self-employment schemes and increasing the number of Registrations under the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) 2021.
The meeting was attended by ADDC ReasiSukhdev Singh Sambyal, Joint Director Chief Planning officer Narinder Kumar, Functional Manager DIC Ankur Sharma and IPO DIC Adeish Singh.
