Srinagar: Several top leaders of Jammu & Kasmir on Monday condoled the demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Chopper crash
National Conference Vice President, Omar Abdullah in a post said that deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic passing of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir in a helicopter crash. “My heartfelt condolences go out to their families and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran.Allah Magfirat farmaye!,” he said.
PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti said that “My deepest condolences to the people of Iran who mourn the tragic passing away of their President Ebrahim Resi. Shocking & quite baffling.”
Apni Party President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari on Monday expressed deep shock over the tragic demise of Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash near Iran – Azerbaijan border.
“I extend my deepest condolences at the sudden and untimely demise of the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi and other officials of Iran in an unfortunate incident that needs a proper investigation,” said Altaf Bukhari in his condolence message. He prayed for the maghfirat of the departed souls, and courage to the people of Iran to bear this irreparable loss.He also prayed for the highest place of the departed noble souls in Jannah.
“Raisi was among the highly respected spiritual as well as political leaders in Iran. However, his loss has created a void that would be difficult to fill,” he said, while expressing solidarity with the people of Iran.
Meanwhile, all the leaders of the Apni Party have also expressed sympathy with the Iranian people at the time of grief and sorrow. Jammu and Kashmir’s Mirwaiz, Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, who has once again been placed under house arrest by the authorities since May 03, has expressed grief and sorrow over the helicopter crash that resulted in the death of Iranian President Mr Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, regional governor Malik Rahmati, and other associates of the President. Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian President and founder of the Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter, Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of Iran’s President Syed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.
