Jammu: Security forces have recovered cache of arms and ammunition along with improvised explosive devices on Sunday in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that acting on specific inputs, joint team of army, police and special operation group launched searches in the Kot Budhan forest area of Mahore.
During searches, they said that nine IEDs with electric detonators, three pistols, three magazines, 20 pistol rounds, one-kg powder type explosives, 15 AK-47 rounds, six AK-47 fired casings, eight 9 volt DC batteries, three Lithium-Ion 12 volt batteries, three electric wire bundles, ten batteries, six large magnets, seven explosive safety fuses, one blanket, dressing dandage, syringes, ropes and cigarette packets.
“The area is cordoned and the search operation is being carried out,” they added.
