Bandipora: The District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Thursday conducted an extensive tour of Sumbal subdivision to take first-hand appraisal of facilities at Special Polling Stations in Assembly Segment 14- Sonawari.
Accompanied by SDM Sumbal, Aamir Choudhary, the DEO visited Model Polling Station Chewa besides Green and Orange Polling stations.
While interacting with BLOs and supervisors, the DEO emphasized ensuring compliance with ECI laws and regulations.
The DEO, on the occasion, emphasized finalizing all arrangements in polling stations well in advance to facilitate voters without inconvenience.
