Properties of 7 militant handlers based in Pak worth lacs attached in B’la: Police

Srinagar: Police on Wednesday said that after obtaining attachment order from Additional Sessions Court Baramulla it has attached properties of seven militant handlers based in Pakistan.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the properties attached include 13 Kanals of land worth lacs belonging to militant handlers based in Pakistan namely Shabir Ahmad Sofi S/o Gul Sofi R/o Sheikhpora, Gh Nabi Alaie S/o Mohd Sultan R/o Waripora Payeen, Gh Nabi Sheikh S/o Ghulam Mohiuddin R/o Warpora Bala, Sharief ud din Chopan S/o Satar Chopan, Gulla Sheikh S/o Gh Mohd, both R/o Reshipora Authoora, Mohd Rafiq Khan S/o Abdul Ahad R/o Saloosa and Ab Hameed Parray S/o Mohd Akbar R/o Frasthar Tilgam.
Stating that the police has taken action under sections of 88 CRPC and are linked with case FIR No.04/2008 under section 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121 RPC, 7/25 IA Act, 13 UA (P) Act of Police Station Kreeri, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement said that the property was identified belonging to militant handlers during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police, adding therein that the operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat the militant activities.
