Ganderbal : Director Health Services (DHS) Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather and Shrine Board Officers led by Rai visited Baltal Base Hospital on Saturday to oversee the healthcare preparations for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra – 2024.
Accompanied by senior Officers, Dr. Rather took stock of the healthcare measures in place and ensured that all arrangements meet the necessary standards for the annual pilgrimage.
During the visit, Dr. Rather and Rai inspected the hospital’s facilities and reviewed emergency preparedness plans. They assessed the medical supplies, equipment, and services available at the hospital, providing guidance on necessary enhancements to better serve pilgrims during the Yatra.
Dr. Rather emphasized the importance of comprehensive healthcare services for the safety and well-being of SANJY participants. He commended the hospital staff for their dedication and commitment to serving the community and highlighted the need for seamless coordination with other healthcare and security agencies.
