Srinagar : Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar on Thursday exhorted troops deployed along the Line of Control and hinterland in Kashmir to maintain a high state of morale in extreme weather and terrain conditions.
Lt Gen. Kumar said this during his visit to forward and hinterland units in Kashmir, where he reviewed the anti-infiltration and counter-militancy grid. He visited frontline units along the Line of Control in the Gurez Sector of Bandipora district and the hinterland forces to review the anti-infiltration and counter-militancy grid. He was accompanied by the Army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai. The Army Commander commended troops for their operational readiness in challenging conditions and exhorted them to maintain a high state of morale in extreme weather and terrain conditions.
