Chairman DLSA G’bal reviews preparations for upcoming National Lok-Adalat

Ganderbal: Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District and Sessions Judge), Ganderbal, Ritesh Kumar Dubey on Tuesday chaired a review meeting of Judicial Officers to discuss the preparation of upcoming 2nd National Lok Adalat, scheduled on 11th May, 2024.
The meeting was attended by Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi, CJM/Sub-Judge, Ganderbal; Nusrat Ali Hakak, Sr. Judge Civil Division/Secretary, DLSA Ganderbal; Mohammad Waseem Mirza, Musiff/JMIC, Ganderbal; Mehnaaz Qadir, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Ganderbal, and Easrar Ul Nabi, Munsiff/JMIC, Kangan.
During the meeting, Chairman DLSA Ganderbal stressed Judicial Officers to physically verify the records and identify cases in all categories which are fit for settlement and to focus on old cases pending more than 5 years, and identify them to take up in the said National Lok Adalat.
He emphasised Judicial Officers to conduct pre-Lok Adalats for all identified matters/cases with conciliation sittings before the scheduled date of the National Lok Adalat, so that the opportunities for negotiations may be offered to the parties to arrive at a compromise or settlement.
During the meeting, all judicial officers exchanged valuable insights, discussed crucial agendas, and formulated an action plan to execute the 2nd National Lok Adalat flawlessly and successfully.
