Srinagar : The SSP Anantnag Dr. G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy along with DIG CRPF Anantnag K. S. Deswalon Friday visited camping locations in District Anantnag to take stock of arrangements made with regard to the forthcoming Lok Sabha election-2024. They were accompanied by Nodal Officer CAPF & CO of 40 Bn CRPF Ram Phool Meena, SP Hqrs Anantnag Sajad Ahmad, Dy SP DAR Anantnag Rouf Ahmad, SDPO Bijbehara Owais Loun and other officers.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, during the visit, detailed arrangements and security review of all locations enroute including was discussed. SSP Anantnag and DIG CRPF also inspected availability of better places and facilities for officers and Jawans. Moreover, concerned officers briefed SSP Anantnag in detail about security arrangements to be put in place to conduct upcoming LokSabha Elections-2024 smoothly.
SSP Anantnag and DIG CRPF directed all the officers to maintain highest level of alertness and ensure proper access control and all necessary facilities at all camping locations across the district.
