LS Elections 2024: Micro Observers imparted Training at Poonch

General Observer explains their role, responsibilities to ensure free & fair electoral process

Poonch: Election Micro Observers for District Poonch were on Thursday imparted training, here in the SKC Auditorium of Degree College Poonch.
The session held under the chairmanship of General Observer for RajouriAnantnag Parliamentary Constituency, Sanjeev Kumar Besra, aimed to equip the micro observers with the necessary knowledge and responsibilities to ensure a free, fair and transparent LokSabha Elections in this border District.
General Observer addressed the micro observers, providing them with detailed information about the election process. He emphasized the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission of India and stressed the importance of adherence to the prescribed norms to ensure transparent election.
The General Observer’s insightful address motivated the micro observers to ensure the successful conduct of the democratic process.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin. M. Choudhary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik and other concerned officers further enriched the training program.
Deputy Commissioner highlighted the significance of smooth conduct of the LokSabha Election 2024.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik, ACR Poonch, Qadeer Ur Rehman, and Nodal Officer to General Observer (DE), Mohammad Rafiq, Prof.Fateh Mohammad Abassi contributed their expertise to the training program.
