DC B’pora visits S. K Stadium, takes stock of under-construction Indoor Stadium, Pavilion

Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, ShakeelulRehman on Thursday visited S. K. Stadium Bandipora to review progress of under construction Indoor Stadium/Hall and Pavilion.
Emphasizing the importance of the pavilion in enhancing the overall experience for sports enthusiasts and spectators, the DC urged the concerned to complete the work within fixed time frames, besides maintaining quality of work.
Stressing on adherence to safety protocols and quality maintenance, the DC also assessed progress of work on indoor stadium/Hall.
It was apprised that the remaining work on Indoor Stadium/Hall shall be completed within a period of 03 months and pavilion shall be ready to use by 2025.
The DC stressed speeding up the pace of work and making both the assets functional within the shortest possible time.
Pertinently, the work on both sports projects was pending for the past few years due to certain issues which were amicably resolved by District Administration Bandipora by conducting series of meetings and discussions with all stakeholders and several spot visits in February this year.
The DC was accompanied by ACD Mumtaz Ahmad Pir, CPO M. Maqbool and other concerned.
