Srinagar: Police on Monday said that SIU Kulgam on Monday produced charge sheet in case FIR No 65/2022 of Police Station Kulgam before Court of Special Judge (Designated Court under NIA) Kulgam against three slain militants and an active militant.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the charge sheet has been produced against 4 accused militants namely Jan Mohammad Lone S/o Ab. Rashid Lone R/o Braripora Shopian, Bilal Ahmad Bhat S/o Gh. Rasool Bhat R/o Chaki Cholend Shopian, Sameer Ahmad Sheikh @Kamran Bhai S/o Farooq Ahmad Sheikh R/o Chaki Cholend Shopian and Abid Ramzan Sheikh S/o Mohd Ramzan Sheikh R/o Chotipora Shopian.
Stating that on June 2, 2022, the above named militants of LeT/TRF and Al-Badr outfits hatched a conspiracy and killed one Branch Manager of Ellaqhai Dehati Bank Arreh Kulgam at Arreh namely Vijay Kumar S/o Om Prakash R/o Bagwa Rajasthan with their illegal acquired weapons, Police in its statement further said that a case was registered in Police Station Kulgam.
Police in its statement further said that special Investigation Unit Kulgam produced charge sheet before NIA Court Kulgam in the instant case FIR No. 65/2022 U/S 452, 302 IPC, 7/27 I.A. Act, 16, 18, 20, and 38 UA (P) Act of Police Station Kulgam against three slain militants namely Jan Mohammad Lone, Bilal Ahmad Bhat and Sameer Ahmad Sheikh regarding whom the Court is prayed to take cognizance and U/S 299 CrPC against accused active militant namely Abid Ramzan Sheikh.
Stating that the investigation with regard to involvement of another accused Arjumand Gulzar @Hamza Burhan S/o Gulzar Ahmad Dar R/o Kharbatpora Ratnipora Pulwama an active militant of Al-Badr outfit absconding shall continue U/S 173 (8) of CrPC and shall be submitted in the form of Supplementary report before the Court.
