Srinagar: Security forces on Sunday averted a major disaster when they detected and defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
“The IED was recovered on Chak-Punchpora road in south kashmir”, the Army said on X.
“A major terror incident was averted by recovering and in-situ destroying the IED”, they said.
