Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina on Sunday said that Congress, NC, and PDP looted the resources and ditched the innocent residents of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a public meeting here at Bhatindi, Raina attacked the Congress, NC, and PDP for looting the resources of the state and ditching the innocent residents of the erstwhile J&K state.

He said that these parties did nothing for the empowerment and the welfare of the needy communities like Gujjars, Bakerwals, and other sections. The Modi government has worked for the welfare of needy and neglected people representing every region and every religion.

Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, former MLA Devender Singh Rana, Vinay Gupta, Ankush Gupta, Ashraf, Wani, Khajuria, Jamwal, Pappu, Pushpinder, Rafiq, Liaqat, Noor Alam, Mohd Alam and others were also present on the occasion.

Raina appealed to the people to vote for the Modi government, which has worked for the welfare of people in every need.

He said that it is the Modi government that took care of the needs of the Gujjar-Bakarwals along with other communities and empowered them socially, economically, and politically.

Raina said that as we have already entered the election mode for the parliamentary elections 2024, the people have already gone through the development works and the policies of the Modi government and are massively supporting the BJP’s candidate in these polls.

He further asked the people to ask others also to vote for the development and elect BJP’s candidate, Jugal Kishore Sharma.

Raina said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented an example of how a political party should work for the welfare of the people.

He said the Modi government has worked on the principle of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” during the last 10 years and India is seen progressing at a fast pace.

He said that Prime Minister Modi considered the whole nation as his family and sincerely worked for the welfare of every section in every area.

Raina said the Modi government belongs to everyone, it has initiated schemes like political reservation, inter-district recruitment issues, vehicles for the transportation of animals, and other such steps for the STs.

He also recalled the time under the leadership of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, when the resurgence started and the nation progressed with the brotherhood in society.

He said that the party believes in taking all the persons on board in the ‘development journey’ and this is only possible in BJP’s leadership.
