Pulwama: A grand Dastar Bandi ceremony took place at Darul Uloom Noor Ul Islam Tral on Friday, with Maulana Rahmatullah Mir Qasmi, a renowned Islamic intellectual of Kashmir, presiding over the event. The ceremony aimed to honor six dedicated individuals who successfully completed their Hifz-e-Quran journey (Masroof Sultan Bhat from Tangmarg, Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir from Pastuna Tral, Ilyas Yaseen Bhat from Gulab Bagh Wanibatoo Tral, Burhan Jabbar Wani from Naibugh Tral, Saqib Tariq from Nahir Tral & Haseeb Ramzan from Pastuna Tral).
During his speech, Maulana Rahmatullah Mir Qasmi emphasized the significance of maintaining a strong connection with Allah and the Quran Pak. He urged the attendees to remember Allah, the creator, and appreciate the countless blessings bestowed upon them. Furthermore, he praised the exemplary life of Hazrat Ameer Kabir (RA) and encouraged everyone to follow his teachings. Maulana Qutub Din, Chairman of Darul Uloom Tral, expressed his excitement about the upcoming Annual Islamic Conference, which is set to take place this year after a long hiatus. “The conference will provide an opportunity to honor three more Hifz-e-Quran achievers, adding to the already vibrant atmosphere of celebration and recognition,” he said. The Dastar Bandi ceremony at Darul Uloom Noor Ul Islam Tral served as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the honored individuals. It also highlighted the importance of fostering a strong connection with Allah and the Quran Pak in the lives of the Ummah.
