Pulwama : In a remarkable event, the Tribal Students Association Kashmir (TSAK) on Wednesday organized a cultural convention titled “The Role of Education Skills & Human Resources in Preserving Culture” at Bajwani Tral. The program aimed to promote education among the Gujjar Bakarwal community while preserving their rich cultural heritage.
As per the TSAK management, the event witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals, including TSAK Chief Patron Choudhary Azhar, President Talib Iqbal, Tribal Activist Dr. Altaf Nizami, Choudhary Noumaan, Master Ibraham, Choudhray Jaffar Ali, Mohammad Ismail, Ghulam Abaas, Aaliya Abdullah, Noor Mohammad Trali, and DDC member Tral Dr. Harbakash Singh, who attended as the guest of honor. During the event, the moderators engaged in insightful discussions on the significance of education in safeguarding and promoting tribal culture, language, and traditions. They emphasized the need to empower the tribal community through education and skill development. Cultural programs were also a highlight of the event, captivating the audience with mesmerizing performances by talented tribal singers. The vibrant and soulful music truly enthralled everyone present. Furthermore, an award ceremony was held to appreciate and recognize the participants’ efforts. The TSAK Tral team, including Shabir Mastana, Zakir Hussain, Mehraj Pulwami, Riyaz Ahmad and others, played a significant role in organizing and executing the program, ensuring its success.
