LG Sinha Congratulates All J&K Qualifiers

Srinagar: In the prestigious UPSC 2023 results, Anmol Rathore, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, made her mark among the nation’s top achievers by securing the esteemed seventh position. Her outstanding accomplishment was accompanied by the success of ten other aspirants from the region, illuminating the pride of Jammu and Kashmir on this grand platform.
Anmol Rathore’s stellar performance led her to claim Rank 07 in the highly competitive UPSC examination. Reflecting on her journey, she said “Last year I qualified for the J&K Civil Services exam, securing the 1st rank, and alongside, I continued preparing for UPSC. This was my third attempt. Nobody expects any rank; the only aim is to make it to the list.”
Anmol mentioned that she did not opt for any coaching and instead followed the basic procedure recommended by many, including studying NCERT books and taking test series. “I always wanted to be a part of the solution rather than being a part of the problem,” she added. Following her footsteps, Arjun Gupta secured Rank 32, while Manan Bhat and Harnit Singh Sudan earned accolades at Rank 88 and Rank 177 respectively.
Among the cohort of accomplished individuals from Jammu and Kashmir, the journey to success continued with Mohammad Haris Mir securing Rank 345, Mohammad Farhan Seh at Rank 369, and Aparajita Aryan at Rank 381. Ghulam Maya Din, Suvarn Sharma, Seerat Baji, and Dinash Kumar further elevated the region’s pride with their remarkable ranks at 388, 412, 516, and 1003 respectively.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) ceremoniously unveiled the results for the Civil Services 2023 examination, casting a spotlight on the exceptional achievements of aspirants across the nation. This monumental announcement, delivered via the official websites – upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in, heralded the dawn of a new chapter in the lives of these dedicated individuals.
This year’s top honors were clinched by Aditya Srivastava, emerging triumphant with All India Rank (AIR) 1, while Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy claimed the distinguished second and third positions respectively. The roster of successful candidates extended to 1,016 individuals, each poised to embark on their journey of service and leadership in the Civil Services realm. The results for the Civil Services 2023 examination were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday via the official website.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on micro blogging website X congratulated Anmol Rathore and other shortlisted candidates. Sinha said “Heartiest congratulations to Anmol Rathore (AIR:7) and all aspirants from J&K who have cleared UPSC CSE-2023. Your remarkable achievements will inspire the youth of J&K. Best wishes to all the successful candidates.” (SIC)
