Srinagar, Apr 17: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone Vidhi Kumar Birdhi Wednesday said that consistent efforts are on from divers and scan teams to search the missing trio in the waters of river Jhelum.
“Divers and scan teams are consistently searching the area to trace out the missing trio. The rescue operation in this regard continued throughout the night and was also resumed today morning. We are trying to search and get them.” IGP Kashmir Zone VK Birdhi said and added, “However there is no fresh development as of now”.
“We have already alerted all Police Stations in Srinagar located along the banks of river Jhelum and directed them to keep eye on developments they observe if any,” IGP Kashmir Zone added.
