Srinagar : Police on Friday said that several police officers on Friday visited families of Police Martyrs in Anantnag and distributed bakery, sweets as a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and compassion .
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, Police said that officers from various Police establishments visited the families of Police Martyrs during the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, adding therein that the purpose of these visits was to express unwavering support, understand the well-being of the families, and pay tribute to the courageous sacrifices made by their loved ones in the pursuit of peace and the integrity of the nation.
Police in its statement further said that as a mark of respect and appreciation, Anantnag Police distributed bakery and sweets to the families of the Police martyrs, symbolizing the bond of shared sacrifice and solidarity, adding therein that the thoughtful gesture was aimed to bring moments of joy and warmth to these extraordinary families during the festive occasion.
