Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman Rather on Friday chaired an interactive meeting at Mini Secretariat regarding academic /learning outcomes and infrastructural gaps in the schools of Bandipora, and to review overall functioning of education sector in the district.
The interactive meeting, aimed to assess overall functioning and identifying areas for improvement in the education sector, discussed various aspects including infrastructure, curriculum, teacher training, and student outcomes.
While reviewing infrastructure availability in educational institutions, the DC asked the Chief Education Officer to ensure the availability of Assured minimum Facilities (ASF) in all schools.
He also asked the CEO to identify schools with less land so that suitable infrastructure and land can be provided to such schools.
The DC also stressed upon the concerned for regular and proper monitoring of all the educational institutions in the district.
He also emphasized the proper utilization of smart classes and ICT labs for the benefit of students.
The DC emphasized resource sharing, including human resources technology, to address challenges and optimize the effectiveness of education delivery.
Further, the DC also asked the CEO to identify teachers who can be utilized for providing coaching to students for competitive examinations.
