LS Elections-2024: General Observer leads inspection of Polling Station at Kilhotran at Doda

Doda: General Observer Dheeraj Kumar, Police Observer Daljit Singh and District Election Officer (DEO) DodaHarvinder Singh visited Village Kilhotran in Gandoh the other day to assess the provision of Assured Minimum Facilities in the local polling station for seamless election process for LokSabha.
SSP JavaidIqbal, SDM Gandoh, TehsildarGandoh besides other officers also accompanied the visiting team.
During the inspection, the General observer reviewed the arrangements made at the polling station, including the security measures, facilities for voters, and the functioning of electronic voting machines (EVMs). He interacted with the polling staff and instructed them to adhere to the Election Commission’s guidelines to ensure a free and fair election process.
Urging the polling staff to perform their duty with integrity, the General observer and police observer emphasized the importance of conducting elections in a transparent and unbiased manner.
