Srinagar : Police on Tuesday said that it has arrested three absconders who were evading their arrest for decades and are involved in Case FIR No. 193/1989 u/s 379/RPC of PS Rajpora and FIR No. 360/2012 U/s 379,380,547,511,120-B, 457 RPC of PS Pulwama.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, Police said that a warrants under section 512 CrPC issued by Court Special Mobile Magistrate Pulwama against accused persons namely Ajab Hussain Shah S/o Athar Shah R/o Sangerwani, Mushtaq Ahmad Turk S/o Hassan Turk Khan and Javid Ahmad Khan S/o Haider Khan, both residents of Bariangan Anantnag , adding therein that the said accused were evading their arrest from decades. Police in its statement further said that the said accused were arrested by special police teams of Police Station Rajpora and Police Station Pulwama, adding therein that the arrested accused persons were produced before the Court of Law.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement reiterated its commitment to keep society free of crime and also resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities.
