Pulwama : The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday conducted an election rally at Karmulla village of Tral sub division in Pulwama district, which was attended by a good number of locals.
The rally was held under the chairmanship of senior PDP leader and parliamentary candidate for Srinagar constituency, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Parra, and was attended by Senior PDP leader & DDC chairperson, Syed Bari Andrabi, PDP spokesman & DDC member Tral, & Dr Harbakash Singh. On the occasion, parliamentary candidate, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra has said that PDP is the only party, which has been working for the welfare of people at the forefront. He said that power tariff hike, proper tax, and several other issues are giving tough time of people, post abrogation of article 370, adding that “every space has been criminalised”. Parra further said that: “We need to go to parliament as the former members of parliament failed to raise the main issues of Kashmir, while we are making every effort to make people realise that someone is speaking for us”. It is pertinent to mention here that the election rally was also attended by PDP zone president Tral, Qutub Din Shah, Latief Bhat, Farooq Reshi, Advocate Zia Ur Rehman, Shahid Amin Shah, Dr Peerzada Mehraj Ud Din Rafiqi & others.
