DC Samba visits GHS Meen Sarkar, participates in awareness campaign against drug abuse

Samba: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma on Monday visited Govt. High School (GHS), MeenSarkar, Sarore and participated in awareness campaign against drug abuse.
SSP Samba, Vinay Kumar; CEO, KewalKrishan; DIO AshiqRafiq; BDO Aparajita Aryan; NaibTehsildar, along with other senior officers from concerned departments and local residents were present on the occasion.
Deputy Commissioner interacted with the teachers, students and local residents and highlighted the challenge posed by increasing drug addiction among the youth.
He directed the senior officials from concerned departments to organise sports activities to save the youth from drug addiction and other social evils.
Emphasizing total eradication of drug abuse, the Deputy Commissioner stressed on channelizing the energy of youth in the positive direction by encouraging activities through sports, education and drug de-addiction drives.
He urged the youth to spread maximum awareness among people regarding drug abuse and don’t let the drugs destroy them, their family and the country.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited Government High School MeenSarkar, interacted with locals and encouraged them to whole heartedly fight against this menace of drug addiction.
