DC B’pora conducts comprehensive field visit ahead of Navratri& Eid Ul Fitr

Officers asked to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid any inconvenience

Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, ShakeelulRehmanon Monday conducted a comprehensive field visit to Ahamshareef, Kaloosa, and other areas to assess the preparations ahead of Navratri and Eid ulFitr.
The DC was accompanied by ADDC, M Ashraf Bhat; ADC, Umar ShafiPandit; DIO, Dr.Naseer Ahmad; DySP, TehsildarBandipora, Executive Engineers, and other concerned.
The DC, along with a team of officers visited MarkaziEidgahBandipora, Sharda Temple Kaloosa, and Ahamshareef Shrine to assess the preparations and identify any areas for improvement ahead of Eid ulfitr and Navratri.
The DC on the occasion directed concerned heads of various departments to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid any inconvenience to people/devotees.
At MarkaziEidgahBandipora, the DC interacted with local auqaf committee members and took stock of facilities, including crowd management arrangements, sanitation measures and security protocols.
He directed the concerned to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place to facilitate smooth observance of Eid prayers.
While interacting with Pandit Community Members and management of Sharda Temple at Kaloosa, the DC stressed proper cleanliness and sanitation around the temple surroundings.
He directed the Executive Officer MC Bandipora to ensure proper sanitation around the temple regularly, particularly on the auspicious occasions.
During the visit, the DC also inspected other aspects of the temple, including infrastructure and security arrangements.
He directed EO MC to ensure proper cleanliness of market places on a regular basis.
At Ahamshareef Shrine, the DC took feedback from representatives of the Waqf Board and locals regarding the facilities available and arrangements made ahead of Eid.
