Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has booked three persons under PSA for their continuous involvement in anti-national activities, after obtaining formal detention orders from competent authority.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said the three accused identified as Mysir Majeed Malik S/o Abdul Majeed R/o Seriwarpora Pattan, Abdul Ahad Dar S/o Ghulam Mohd DAR R/o Dar Mohalla Palhallan and Khursheed Ahmad WazaS/o Late Gh Ahmad R/o Tantraypora Palhallan have been booked under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority, adding therein that the said accused booked by police have been detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Kupwara and Anantnag.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Police said that many cases were registered against the said accused for being involved in disturbance of Law &Order and subversion, adding therein that despite their involvement in many FIR’s they did not mend their anti-national and anti-Social activities.
