Srinagar : Police on Sunday said that it has obtained an attachment order passed by Sub Judge Uri for the attachement of properties measuring 30 Kanals and 15 Marlas land worth crores belonging to proclaimed offenders who have exfiltrated to Pak Administered Kashmir (PaK)/Pakistan namely Mohd Lateef S/o Shah Mohd R/o Sultandaki (18 Kanals& 6 Marlas), Sadar Din S/o Alam Din R/o Madiyan (9 Marlas) & Aziz Din S/o Imam Din R/o Singtung Gowhallan (12 Kanals).
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC and are linked with case FIR No.88/1984 u/s 7/25 IA Act, 4, 3 TADA Act & 13/1987 u/s 457, 380 RPC, 6/2008 u/s 2/3 EIMCO & case FIR No. 116/1996 u/s 2/3 EIMCO of Police Station Uri, adding therein that the property was identified belonging to Proclaimed Offenders during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police. In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police reaffirmed its commitment to combat the militant activities.
