Channi: Coming down heavily on the opposition-led INDI alliance, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda said on Sunday that the INDI alliance is a conglomeration of only corrupt parties.
Addressing a public meeting in support of the BJP’s Chidambaram (reserved) Lok Sabha constituency, P.Karthiyayini, Nadda said that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi says I will finish corruption, on the other hand, the INDI alliance leaders talk about saving corrupt people. That is their working style and function. On one side, we have a prime minister working for the country and Tamil Nadu, and on the other hand, you have the INDI alliance, an alliance of Parivar bachao and Dynasty bachao, save the family. Hitting out at the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, Mr. Nadda asked what DMK stands for. The DMK stands for Dynasty, Money Swindling, and Kattapanchayat. Its ally, the Congress, is full of corruption. The whole INDI alliance is a conglomeration of corrupt parties who are trying to save their families, dynasties, and themselves from corrupt practices they have done. I would like to give an INDIA Alliance picture of Farooq Abdulla of the Jammu Kashmir National Conference Party and Omar Abdullah of a family party. Late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti Sayed are family parties; Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbhir Singh Badal in Punjab and the Badal family are family parties; Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav are family parties; and Bihar’s Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Tej Pratap Yadav are family parties. If I talk about Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, a family party, if I talk about KCR (K.Chandrashekar Rao), KTR (K.T.Rama Rao), and Kavitha, a family party, in Tamil Nadu Karunanidhi, his son M.K. Stalin, and his son Udhayanidhi Stalin—a family party; Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule—a family party; Uddhav Thackeray, and Aaditya
Thackeray were family parties. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi attended a family party. These family parties are trying to see if they are able to save the dynasty and the family party. Besides, they are involved in various corruption cases. Arvind Kejriwal is involved in a liquor scam. In DMK, Stalin and Udhayanidhi were involved in corrupt practices for having more assets than their income. Practically every leader is in jail or on bail. The leaders of the INDI alliance, like Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, are on bail. P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram, Kejriwal, and Sisodia are either in jail or in bail, he added.
Stating that Tamil Nadu development is at stake under the corrupt Stalin-led DMK
regime, Mr.Nadda said they should be thrown off. He said the DMK and Congress were always against Tamil culture, traditions, and customs, and they have always been against Tamil culture, Tamil civilization, and Tamil customs in a big way. It was also very sad to see that when the PM installed Sengol in the Parliament House, it was the DMK and Congress parties who opposed it. But the BJP stands for Tamil Nadu’s rich literature, the language, the culture, the tradition, and the
customs. Under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi, the country has taken a long leap. You will be happy to note that India in 2019 was the 11th economic power in the world, but even after the Corona pandemic and the Ukraine war, today India is the 5th largest economy in the world. When Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister for the third time in 2024, India will become the third-largest economy in the world. In electronics, our production and exports have increased by six times. In 2014, people used to carry mobile phones that were made in China; today, you are carrying mobile phones that were made in India. Now, 97 percent of mobiles are being produced and manufactured in India. In the same way we have heard about the Japanese automobile industry, America is in the automobile industry, but today, under the dynamic leadership of Narendra Modi, we have defeated Japan, and India is the third largest automobile market in the world. India’s manufacturing and exports have increased by 138 percent. So India is taking a long leap, and when you make Mr.Modi Prime Minister for the third time, India will take a long, long leap, and Tamil Nadu will also be a part of it.
Stating that Tamil Nadu was very special for Mr.Modi, he said the PM had increased the tax devolution to the state by three times and the grant of aid from the Centre by four times. He ensured a hefty allocation for Tamil Nadu under the National Health Mission by allocating Rs 1,650 crore for improving health infrastructure. Besides being allocated Rs 613 crore for the development of rural roads, Rs 872 crore for drinking water, Rs 10,346 crore for rural development, and an enhanced railway budget of seven times for the state,. We focus on the empowerment of women, the aspirations of youth, and the empowerment of farmers. We took care of the Dalits, tribals, and people left behind to make India stronger, he added.
