GHSS Rajgarh organises series of activities under SVEEP

Ramban:Government Higher Secondary School, Rajgarh has been proactively demonstrating civic responsibility towards electoral process by organizing series of activities under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP).
Under the guidance of District Election Officer, Baseer-Ul-HaqChaudhary and the supervision of Nodal Officer SVEEP (ACP) Ramban, AshfaqKhanji, these initiatives aimed to instill significance of electoral participation among youth and to ensure their participation in LokSabha Elections 2024.
The event garnered enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff members, including many first-time voters.
Resource persons from district SVEEP cell emphasised the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurture democratic values and foster civic engagement among the youth, highlighting the pivotal role educational institutions play in shaping responsible citizens and fortifying the democratic ethos of our nation.
The campaign underscored the crucial role of robust civic engagement in shaping the democratic landscape. The vibrant participation of youth, alongside members of the public and election personnel, reiterated the collective dedication to nurturing an informed electorate.

LS Elections-2024: SVEEP activities organised across Doda district to spread voter awareness
Ramban:Outreach activities under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program were held on Saturday across Doda district to engage with PwD voters.
The SVEEP programme activities aimed at creating awareness and providing support to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) voters for upcoming LokSabha Elections 2024.
The program was orchestrated under the visionary leadership of the District Election Officer, Harvinder Singh.
The SVEEP programme was attended by Nodal Officers for SVEEP, Master Trainers and others.
The awareness programme briefed participants on the voting process and facilities available for PWD voters, such as wheelchair access, ramps, and special assistance at polling stations.
The aim was to ensure that PWD voters are aware of their rights and have access of necessary support to exercise their vote.
The goal is to ensure that all citizens, including those with disabilities, can easily participate in the democratic process and have their voices heard in the upcoming LokSabha Elections 2024.

LS Elections-2024: Awareness drive under SVEEP held at Ramsoo for women voters
Ramban: An awareness drive under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative was on Saturday held here in Ramsoo under the directions of District Election Officer Ramban, Baseer-Ul-HaqChaudhary.
Nodal Officer, Women Awareness and Welfare (AC-55 Banihal), BDO Headquarter, ShailniChandel, organized a camp in the Government High School Ramsoo.
The camp was meticulously designed to engage and encourage new women voters, emphasizing their crucial role in the electoral process.
The campaign, themed “Every Vote Matters,” highlighted the significance of active participation in the electoral process, particularly among women. Through educational sessions and community engagement activities, women were encouraged to exercise their voting rights and contribute to the democratic fabric of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Nodal officer said that this initiative underscores the dedicated SVEEP team’s commitment to inclusivity and democratic participation, ensuring that every segment of society is empowered to exercise their right to vote effectively. Such initiatives play a pivotal role in strengthening the democratic fabric of our nation and fostering a culture of active citizenship, she mentioned.
