Bhaderwah: Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh on Saturday spearheaded a meeting to discuss the arrangement plan for the forthcoming festival season, including Eid UlFitr, Navratra, Ram Navami, and Baishakhi.
Accompanied by SSP DodaJavaidIqbal and ASP Bhaderwah, the meeting drew participation from across the departments and non-official committees, emphasizing a holistic approach to preparations.
Critical areas like drinking water, power supply, security, traffic management, cleanliness, and market monitoring took center stage during the session. The Public Health Engineering (PHE) department was tasked with ensuring a consistent water supply, while the Power Development Department (PDD) was directed to maintain uninterrupted electricity. Police were entrusted with vigilant security measures, and Municipal Corporation (MC) Bhaderwah was assigned to uphold hygiene standards in the town.

DC Doda stressed the significance of interdepartmental collaboration to minimize public inconvenience. Supervisory squads and monitoring committees were highlighted as essential mechanisms to ensure regulatory compliance. Specific concerns, such as uniform pricing, were addressed, with departments instructed to take necessary actions.
District officers, representatives from line departments, the President of Sanatan Dharma SabhaDoda, President of Anjuman–e-Islamia, president of BeoparMandal as well as police officials. Discussions encompassed security arrangements, power supply, water supply, availability of food grains and essential commodities, traffic issues, cleanliness, hygiene of slaughterhouses, fire emergency services.
